Dielectric Constant Measurement is designed to measure Dielectric Constant of different solid materials like Teflon, Glass, Bakelite, etc. A dielectric substance is the electrically insulating material. An effective dielectric typically contains polar molecules that reorient in external electric field. Such materials when placed between the plates of a capacitor it increases the polarization and the value of the capacitance. The dielectric constant is the ratio of electrical conductivity with dielectric material and without dielectric material. Uses this relation for calculating dielectric constant with the help of inbuilt RF signal generator and LCD.
